Oxygen Media is bringing back the show that sparked a social media frenzy and received backlash from among the Christian communities about “preachers” being a part of reality TV this transparent. With averaging one-million total viewers each week this show has won the nod of the network and yes, the “Preachers of L.A.” is coming back for a second season.
The reality show based on the lives of preachers Bishop Noel Jones, former pastor Deitrick Haddon, Bishop Clarence McClendon, Pastor Jay Haizlip, Pastor Wayne Chaney and Bishop Ron Gibson was diverse with its issues, topics and controversy during season one. We can not wait to see what season two has to offer.
There’s no word on whether the entire cast from season one will return for the second season.
The network announced on Monday, that the show, produced by L. Plummer Media in association with Relevé Entertainment, will also be expanding. Oxygen Media is considering doing spin-off versions in New York, Atlanta, Dallas, and Detroit.
